Electric Hover Lawn Mowers

The unique hover action that makes these mowers so manoeuvrable is created by a turbine, pushing air downwards so that they hover just above ground. The grass is then cut by the rotary action of a spinning circular blade.

Floating Spin Blade Mow

Typically lightweight to allow them to float more easily, this type of mower is the ideal choice for gardens with banks, slopes, driveways and paths, or even for longer grass, as it can be easily lifted up and over, then lowered onto problem areas. As there is no friction to impede sideways movement, the mowing action tends to be a side-to-side swing rather than forwards in a straight line. Available in a range of sizes, some models have built in grass compacters, making light work of collecting and composting cuttings.
