You can't beat the flavour that barbecuing gives food, but did you know that you can enhance the flavour by adding chips (or chunks) of certain woods? Give a new taste to your food with these excellent Weber Hickory Chips for both charcoal and gas grilling. Weber gas grill owners can use Weber Chips in the smoker attachment and Weber Charcoal owners can soak the chips in water and sprinkle them on top of hot charcoal to produce a fantastic flavour.
To create smoke instead of burning the wood chips you will need to reduce the oxygen, which is what the smoker does. For those without a smoker, wrapping some chips in foil, and stabbing this pouch with a fork will give you the same effect. These chips are suitable for shorter cooking times e.g. steaks, chops, however for roasts and other dishes requiring longer cooking times, our wood chunks are ideal.
