Wash mitts speed up motorbike cleaning and are less likely to leave fine scratches or streaks. Natural wool mitts are considered the best as they are super soft with a thick pile to absorb soapy water, work into every crevice for thorough cleaning. The fibres of the wool attract dirt trapping them within the pile away from the surface of the mitt, where they could cause scratches on paintwork and chrome. Microfibre mitts are also available, with the advantage that they are completely machine washable - wool mitts should be hand washed to keep them in the best condition.

Polishing Mitts

After rinsing you can also speed up the polishing and finishing by using polishing mitts made from lint-free microfibre. Used with specialist motorbike polishes and waxes, these produce a streak free gleam every time.
