Motorbike helmets can be worn with or without helmet skirts - these are often a matter of personal preference. Helmet skirts significantly reduce noise and roar when riding and provide extra waterproofing and protection against the elements in bad weather. Helmet skirts are designed to be compatible with any full-face helmet and can be attached and detached in just a few seconds using a non-slip band. Most also feature vents to allow moisture to escape and prevent misting.

Long Length Crash Helmet Skirts

Some designs of helmet skirt are longer, with the skirt extending down to the base of the neck and draping over the shoulder blades. These are ideal for keeping dust and debris out of the helmet when riding in non-urban conditions.
