When carrying out repairs or maintenance on your bike, the ideal solution is a paddock stand to hold it securely in position while lifting the wheels off the floor for easy access to working parts. Many bikes, however, have under slung brake arms or uneven swing arms which make it impossible to use a universal paddock stand, but using bobbins can make them work.
