Cordless Saws

Electric cordless saws allow operators to cut through tough materials that would otherwise be difficult with a handheld saw. The blades are made with either steel or carbide, and although more expensive, carbide blades last longer than the steel. Safety features include shaft locks that immobilise the blade to allow easy and secure changing, and electric brakes which cut power for instant stopping.

Wireless Electric Blades

Ordinary carbon steel blades are best suited for soft wood sawing, while high speed steel blades can withstand higher temperatures without yielding - and are therefore best suited to cutting through harder wood. Tile-cutting blades contain diamond-tips and are intended for cutting ceramic tiles, whereas masonry blades are the toughest and can be used to cut dense materials such as concrete or brick.
