Circular Saws

Hand-held circular saws are powerful saws that can make short work of cutting plywood, MDF and any other wood up to a thickness of about 30 millimetres. When used with the right type of guide they make accurate straight cuts, and are easier to use than a handsaw. Circular saws are useful for cutting kitchen worktops, furniture board, tongue-and-groove floorboards, and for making window frames. They can also be put to good use when you need to cut rebates, mitres or chamfers, or to start off wood slots.

Extra Safety Saws

Most models of circular saw have a laser guide that helps the user to cut accurately. All have in-built safety features, such as a retractable hand guard. The degree of the base plate can be altered between 90 degrees and 45 degrees to give the required angle of cut. In addition, a switch lock allows the circular saw to be operated comfortably when cutting long lengths of wood.
