Finding the right lawnmower for you.

The time has come when the green stuff has started to grow, so no doubt you will be thinking about what Lawnmower is right for you and your garden.

 
The first choice you need to make is Electric Lawnmower or Petrol Lawnmower, this will be dependant on the size of your lawn electric lawnmowers are suitable for gardens where power supply is readily available and you are ok to be restricted by the lenght of the cable.  If you have a larger garden or power supply is not available then a petrol lawnmower will be right for you.

A cylinder petrol lawnmower with a roller is the one for you if you are looking for a bowling green finish.  The Mountfield emperor is superb and would satisfy the needs of the most proud of gardeners.   Two points to consider are:-

• Width of cut - how many times do you want to go up and down the bigger the cut the less walking you have to do.

• Mulch Facility - Mulching means that the grass is cut very finely and the re cut within the mower and then it falls back on to the grass providing nutrients to your soil.  The benefit of this - you don't have to make trips to the bin to empty the grass box because there isn't one ! however you do have to keep on top of the cutting.
