SIP 01478 Router

A powerful router that makes short work of shaping wood surfaces for hinge and lock recesses.

This robust router is made by SIP and powered by a 1500 watt motor that delivers a substantial 2 HP to give you maximum power for all your routing projects. It has a variable speed, operating between 9000 and 27000 RPM and a plunge depth maximum of 52 mm. There are four pre-set stops but the router can then be finely adjusted to any depth required, using the micro-adjustable depth stop. It comes with a parallel guide fence and a 6 mm, 8 mm and 12 mm collet, six popular router bits (for example for dovetailing and fluting) an allen key and a blow-moulded plastic carry case.
