Stihl MS171 30.1cc Light Compact Petrol Chainsaw with 30cm (12") Bar

Designed to be economic in use with low emission output, this high performance chainsaw is the ideal solution for most wood cutting chores around the domestic garden. Reducing vibrations on the operator by up to 30%, the saw incorporates Stihl's AV System that limits vibrations to 4.1m/s². The MS171 chainsaw is powered by a 30.1cc petrol engine with a power output of 1.3kw and a bar length of 30cm (12"). Weighing in at just 4.3kg (9.5lbs), the machine serves a weight to power ratio of 3.3 (kg/kw).

Built with a side access chain tensioner and one piece shroud for hassle-free maintenance, the chainsaw features a PMMC3 chain with a pitch of 3/8" that provides reduced kick-back for the user. The unit has also been designed with a summer/winter operation shutter that provides optimum running even at low temperatures.
