ElastoStart comes fitted as standard as does the Ematic chain lubrication system and a Quickstop chain brake.

Four-Port Technology - The MS240 features a super-convenient tool-less filler cap for fuel and oil tanks and a Quickstop chain break and side chain tensioner come as standard.

STIHL’s unique Four-Port Technology means a layer of clean air lies between the burnt deposits in the combustion chamber and the fresh fuel mixture in the crank casing. The cushioning effect that results, reduces the amount of unburned fuel expelled in the exhaust during gas changing, making for a cleaner, greener chainsaw.
