Draper 49162 Diesel Heater is ideal for use in open and semi-open locations only. Direct combustion of fuel, as the exhaust gases are mixed with air they are discharged to give a high heat output. High performance stainless steel burner assembly. Pumped fuel ensures high reliability and efficient combustion. Fitted with flame safety device and fuel filter. Supplied with a BS approved non-rewireable 3 pin moulded plug and cable.

What Btu output heater do I need to heat my area?

Calculating what Btu output heater you need to heat your area in quite simple.

Measure the 3 dimensions of the area you need to heat in feet , the length, width and ceiling height at the highest point.

Then multiply the length x width x height and you have the cubic measurement of the area.

Simply multiply this figure by 5 and you now have the Btu output needed to heat the area.

Example:

Area 58ft L x 34ft W x 18ft H = 35,496³ ft

35,496 x 5 = 177,480 Btu
