Cut-Off Saws

Cut-off saws are designed specifically to cut metal and can be hand-held or clamped in position on the bench top. They are available in a range of different sizes; the circular wheel blade rotates at speeds of up to 4000 rpm when not cutting. Circular Blade Cutting Cut-off saws are able to handle pipe cutting, iron and steel bar cutting, as well as most sheet metals. The supporting fence can be set at different angles for bevelled cutting as required. Some models can be used to cut concrete and stone. During operation, the wear and tear on the blade of a cut-off saw is considerable and blades should be replaced frequently to achieve maximum efficiency.
