Axle Stands

Axle stands are a vital yet uncomplicated feature of every home car workshop, automotive repair shop or garage, used to support a vehicle, allowing easy and safe undercarriage maintenance. Different sizes with different supporting capacities are available, ranging from the smaller axle stands that can take up to two tons each, to the heavy-duty stands with all-steel stands, pin and chain load support, which can handle 12 tons per stand. This difference in capacity is reflected in the price, but for the commercial workshop, the heavy duty axle stands will quickly pay for themselves, while also providing peace of mind with respect to safety standards. Collapsible Stand Hardware Some smaller axle stands have a unique space-saving folding design - the axle stands can be packed away in a more compact space when not being used - which is better for maintaining safety standards. Folding axle stands are made entirely from steel and are fitted with a double action safety locking device.
