Bench Bobbin Sanders

Also known as oscillating spindle sanders, bench bobbin sanders are heavy duty sanders which consist of a central sanding bobbin set within a substantial work table that is supported to bench height by the unit below. The table is fully adjustable, and can be angled up to 45 degrees, making it easier to sand angled surfaces. Various sizes of bobbin can be fitted; 6mm, 12mm, 16mm, 38mm, and 50mm are standard. Motorised Sanding Power The base contains the powerful motor that makes the bobbin oscillate at high speed. This motion spreads out the wear on the bobbin during sanding, preventing the wood from being burnt or scorched. There's also a dust extraction outlet, with some models available with complete extraction hoods, so sanding can be completely dust-free.
