Planer Thicknesser

Planer thicknessers provide an automated method for cutting whole wood planks to an exact size while also smoothing the surface. The rough wood is passed easily through the plane thicknesser, which trims off the top surface, providing a plank of even size with smooth surface finish. Smooth Thick Finish The height of the planer thicknessing blade is fully adjustable, enabling you to choose the desired size of the finished plank. Rubber coated drive rollers feed the wood through steadily and smoothly for perfect results with no marking. Some models also have top rollers to allow longer lengths of timber to be prepared. The process is quick and easy; for really rough wood, several passes can be made until the desired thickness and finish is achieved.
