Drilling Augers
Essentially a handheld machine with a petrol powered motor driving a spiral drill bit, drilling augers are designed for boring holes in the ground for fence posts, or for taking soil samples, or planting trees, shrubs, and young plants.
Soil & Earth Drilling Machines
Smaller, specialised models with a narrower gauge and shallower working depth are also available, suitable for mass flower plantings, small decorative post and sign holes, deep root fertilisation, and for use in existing flower beds. A range of interchangeable auger bits and accessories by supreme brands such as Makita, Power-mec and Stihl make this a highly versatile tool.
