Petrol Rotary Mowers

Rotary mowers feature a metal rotary blade spinning at around 3000rpm to cut the grass, and are a good choice for all-round use. When fitted with rear rollers, rotary mowers can give almost the same professional striped finish as the much more expensive cylinder models and also allow cutting over border edges with greater control than a 4 wheel machine. Hand push rotary mowers offer a lightweight option for small to medium lawns, while self-propelled models are worth considering for larger areas. Choose a petrol model if you need to use it where mains power is not available. Generally petrol rotary mowers come with grass collection, another option are mulch mowers. Mulch mowers feature domed cutting decks and a mulching blade that keeps the clippings circulating until chopped into small pieces, these are then released into the ground as an instant lawn fertiliser, and of course save on you emptying grass cuttings.
