Mulching Petrol Rotary Lawn Mowers

Fed up with carting bags of grass cuttings to the local dump? Do you want to do your bit to reduce landfill waste? Well, you can do your bit by using a mulch mower to cut your grass. Mulching is a simple idea; instead of the grass cuttings being forced out of a chute at the rear of the rotary mower and into the collection bag the grass is forced to spin round under the mower deck. The blade is designed to chop the grass up into small pieces and then force it down into the ground. The nutrients in the grass cuttings then help to feed the lawn and you are not left with any messy grass cuttings on your lawn. For the best results you will need a dedicated mulch mower, but there a many excellent models on the market that provide 3 in 1 cutting modes. Cut and collect, cut and discharge, and mulching.
