Fitted with a Honda GX340 petrol engine that features a brushless alternator design and hot spark electronic ignition, this SIP arc welding generator delivers a power rating of 11hp with two auxillary ports serving 110v and 230v at a maximum 5kva. . The overhead design of the engine offers fuel economy and extended life, whilst the inclined cylinder and counter-balance shaft keeps vibration to a minimum. With a high capacity fuel tank holding 6 litres of unleaded fuel, the machine is capable of running for approximately 2.4 hours. Capable of using a 4mm electrode, the weld current output range is between 60-180 amp, with an open circuit voltage of 50-62v offering an approximate weld thickness range in mild steel of between 1.5-7mm. The weld current output type is AC.
