Chain Sharpening
A dull chain means poor or erratic chainsaw performance. Keep it sharp with our range of hand filing kits and workbench mounted tools, available for all saws and in a range of diameters.
Hand Powered & Electric Grinding
Hand sharpening is done with a round file or a jig while the chain is still on the saw, or you can use a specialised electric sharpening vice with the chain removed. In either case, the cutting faces are kept at the correct angles, carefully balanced to maximise the saw's efficiency. Proper hand-sharpening may produce a better result, but electric sharpeners are faster, particularly when sharpening chains which have been damaged by dirt, metal or rocks. Carbide chainsaw blades can only be sharpened by a diamond sharpener.-
