Description
This low maintenance electric scarifier is powered by a 1800W/1.8kW motor which provides plenty of power to get the job done quickly and efficiently so there is no need to worry about mixing oils and refuelling like you would with petrol powered models. Comes supplied with a 10m long power cable to give you more than enough working length. Ideally suited for small to medium sized grassy areas, this Aerator will leave you with a beautiful healthy green lawn.
The HYSC1800E is perfect is revitalising spongy lawns, fixing patchy grass growth and encouraging drainage from areas prone to flooding. It has a generously large working width of 38cm / 15" which is wider than most completive models, so will be sure to make short work of getting your lawns aerated in no time.
Built on robust and sturdy wide tread wheels, this grass scarifier is lightweight and comfortable to push around the garden. The 5 adjustable scarifying heights are simply controlled via the adjustment dial and range from -12mm, -9mm, -6mm, -3mm and +10mm. With a large 45L grass collector box, collecting weeds and moss on the go means less mess to clear up and reduces the time spent on the job.
Designed with user safety in mind, this electric Lawn Rake will automatically stop if you let go of the Operator Presence Control (OPC) Lever, so you are always in control of the machine. It has foldable handles making storage easy and compact for any garage or garden shed.
For best results it is recommended that you scarify your lawn every 4-6 weeks, between the months of April-September to remove any compacted, dead and built-up soil, moss, thatch and weeds. The lawn rake rotates and scratches the ground to help improve water drainage and if you use the rake setting following each lawn mowing this will remove any leftover grass clippings. Once these have been removed your lawn can breathe and absorb plenty of nourishment, oxygen and water.
