Description
Particularly suited to shred woody tree or hedge cuttings with a high proportion of wood up to a maximum diameter of 35mm, the Stihl GHE105 shredder is ideal for medium sized shredding jobs throughout the gardening year. Transforming soft material such as flower cuttings or foliage into a nutrient-rich mixture that can be easily composted and returned back to the lawn you can also add mixed clippings via a separate oblong feed opening.
Designed with a cloverleaf opening which assists in effortless fedding of clippings into the machine, the soundproofed chute facilitates feeding of the shredder but also refuced working noise when shredding in the garden. The integrated spray protection provides a shield against swirling dirt. The multi cut 103 blade system can chip hard branch material and shred soft green clippings as well as plant trimmings to a consistently small size. The multi-bucket tooth disc incorporates reversible chipping blades, wing blades and an aluminium counter-cutter.
Constructed with a motor protector by an overload device which is a safety locking which prevents the machine from starting up when open.
