Description
Designed for working in confined areas with it's compact design and balanced centre of gravity, the Stihl MH 445 R tiller boasts a forward and reverse gear which makes it easier to manoeuvre and change direction of travel. Boasting a powerful 140cc Briggs & Stratton 4-stroke engine which makes tilling the soil an effortless task and offers a high performance. The overhead valves ensure that the petrol/air mixture burns especially cleanly and efficiently. This Stihl MH445R tiller has a standard 45cm working width which can be adjusted if required.
Featuring special shaped blades which turn the soil over extremely efficiently with an optimised burrowing action. Comes with a dividable hoe set accompanying this tiller which allows the variable adjustment of the working width meaning crops can be planted in rows close to one another with lateral discs to protect existing plants from sustaining damage during tilling. Designed with a swivelling brake spur which can be used to adjust the blade entry depth, swivelling at 180° makes it easier to work with the tiller in narrow passages and bends. The brake spur is easily accessible and can be set to 3 different heights.
The handle has an anti-vibration system integrated in the mount to reduce vibrations at the handlebar making it much more comfortable for use, even during longer periods of time and reduces the effort required to operate the tiller. The handle is adjustable laterally and longitudinally without using tools allowing the user to adjust the handlebar to suit their height for more comfortable working and it is foldable for more compact storage. Both hands can be used to steer this tiller with the throttle within easy reach of the handles and can be controlled with the thumb whilst steering for precision control.
Built on transport wheels which are foldable when the tiller is in use, they allow for easy movement of the tiller around the garden. It also allows for easy access to the blades when tipped back on the wheels.
