The Makita DUH523Z cordless hedge trimmer is powered by Lithium Ion batteries which are common to dozens of Makita professional power tools (please note this is a naked unit no batteries or charger come with this unit). Featuring a stain shear blade surface of glittering silver obtained by non-electrolyzed nickel plating that features a high anti-abrasion surface for long lasting coating which can be replaced by the user easily. This blade can be removed without disassembling the housing.

Designed with an anti-vibration structure consisting of a motor-crank section and handle section linked by 5 cushions to help absorb vibrations from the blade and motor-crank section. Featuring a battery capacity warning lamp which blinks red the the battery power has nearly been used up and solid red when the battery power has been completely used up - with a built in battery protector to shut the power off when the power has been used.
