Satisfactory delivery is a crucial part of the service offered by World of Power, and we aim to provide an efficient, professional, and punctual delivery schedule for all our customers.
UK Mainland Delivery Charges
Due to ongoing price increases and fuel surcharges being levied by all courier companies. We are constantly updating our delivery charges.
For your convenience once you have added an item to the basket you can view the basket and easily obtain a delivery estimate by entering your postcode. Delivery prices are reflective of the size of the item(s) you are purchasing and your individual postcode.
Standard working days are Monday-Friday (Excluding Bank Holidays) , Saturday delivery is available at a premium, if Saturday delivery is available this option will be displayed within the check out.
We do not deliver to BFPO addresses, Ireland, the Scilly Isles, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Scottish Islands and any countries outside of mainland UK.
To help ensure that you receive your products in perfect condition products weighing over 30kg and other fragile products will most often be delivered on a pallet. A pallet delivery is around 10 times more expensive than a parcel delivery but it is well worth the extra to save the frustrations of receiving a damaged product and the hassle of arranging a replacement.
For reasons of health and safety and to avoid any property damage, items dispatched via a pallet delivery service can only be delivered to the exterior of a ground floor location at the delivery address and on to hard standing – also referred to as ‘kerb side delivery’.
If you select the standard delivery option, your local courier depot will contact you on the number provided to book in the delivery directly with you. If you select the next day delivery option this will arrive with you the next working day (Monday – Friday), the local depot will NOT book in the delivery with you this is an all-day courier service.
In all Pallet delivery cases, someone will need to be home to accept the delivery this cannot be left safe, should no one be available to accept the delivery the local depot will return the parcel back to the local depot and re-delivery charges will apply. The cost of a pallet delivery is very much postcode dependant, to confirm the cost of delivery please add the items you wish to purchase to your basket where you can enter your postcode for a delivery quote.
If you choose to purchase a product for forward delivery to an address outside our delivery area, should the item require any kind of repair or replacement, we can only collect the product from a UK address.
If you are paying via American Express we will only deliver to the card holder’s address. We will contact you in the event of an order being placed to a different address to advise of these terms allowing you to amend or cancel your order.
In some instances where an item will fit through your letter box we will choose to use Royal Mail delivery service - this hopefully will enhance your shopping experience as the delivery will not have to be signed for.
Items in stock are normally despatched within 24-48 hours, either on a next working day or 2-3 day carrier service. Items showing as available are typically available within 3-6 working days, our customer service department will contact you if we foresee any delays beyond this, with the option to cancel or change your order. You will be notified by e-mail when your order is despatched and a following e-mail will include your order consignment number and carrier contact details to track the delivery. Please note we cannot be held responsible for any orders delayed in the carrier service as this is simply beyond our control. All orders need to be signed for and cannot be left without a signature.
Please note that if you order several items together and one is out of stock this will delay the whole order from a next day delivery to the longest lead time on the order. We do not part ship.
If parcels / pallets are damaged or items are missing you should either refuse the delivery completely or sign for the parcels as being 'DAMAGED'.
If the number of parcels / pallets does not match or correspond to the consignment note, this must be stated as 'SHORT DELIVERY'.
Should you not have the time to check the parcel / pallet please sign for the goods as ‘UNCHECKED’.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the actions above are followed BEFORE SIGNING. Mistakes cannot be rectified once the number of packages has been signed for.
All carrier related damages and discrepancies must be reported to us within 2 working days via email. We will not be responsible for any carrier-related damage or loss reported outside of this 2-day period.
