McCulloch CS42STE petrol chainsaw offers excellent balance to weight ratio to offer superb handling and this model is packed with great features to make your chainsawing easy and fuss free. This McCulloch petrol chainsaw is an ideal all round chainsaw and is ideally used for cutting firewood.
Designed by McCulloch engineers at the Husqvarna HQ in Sweden, the CS42STE chainsaw comes with a powerful 42cc engine OxyPower 2-stroke petrol engine which delivers lower emissions, a reduced fuel consumption and more power than previous models, with a power output of 1.5kW.
The CS48STE has SwitchStart which reduces the number of steps needed to start the chainsaw. Soft start function ensures the chainsaw will start and get to full power smoothly, giving a powerful cut. Tool-less chains tensioning on this models allows for quick and easy tensioning of the chain without the need for any tools.
As a safety feature, the chain brake will activate in the event of unexpected kickback. Featuring an advanced anti-vibration system which is standard for a more comfortable user experience and also soft start recoil reduces the resistance in the starter cord by up to 40% making starting much easier.
