SIP 04444 Honda Engine Air Compressor
The SIP Airmate ISHP5.5 50 litre air compressor has been designed for the industrial user who requires a reliable air supply. This petrol compressor has the capacity to deliver a maximum pressure of 150psi (10 bar) from its 5.5hp Honda GX160 engine. Improving the airflow into the cylinders is a multi-bladed flywheel, which gives an air displacement of 425 litres per minute and free air delivery of 312 litres per minute.
Reducing the need for maintenance, the machine has a larger oil sump to increase lubrication of the internal parts. This compressor has been built with two cast iron cylinders with stainless steel valves for increased wear resistance. Suited for the industrial environment, this compressor has been fitted with industrial air intake filters offering outstanding wear resistance of the internal mechanism. Meeting all CE standards, the unit has a sound pressure rating of 76db(A) at 4 metres.

To decide the correct compressor for you, firstly decide on which tools you require to use with the compressor. You then need to look at the free air delivery (FAD) to ensure that the compressor is able to power the tools required. Then the tank size needs to be taken into consideration, a small tank will only give you a few seconds of compressed air which is suitable for a riveter whereas a spray gun will require a continuous air flow needing a larger tank.
When sanding or spraying ensure the compressor is as far away as possible to prolongue the life of your machine.
