Lightweight and well balanced, the Stihl HLA56 is a cordless long-reach hedge trimmer suitable for use with the AK range of lithium batteries. Ideal for cutting taller hedges and shrubs in the garden, the HLA56 is well balanced providing optimal user comfort. A 45cm blade length, the blades have been specifically shaped in a droplet shape to help guide the hedge towards the cutters for a more efficient cut. The hedge trimmer blade is adjustable from -45° through to +90° ensuring the correct angle can be selected for each job.
With an overall length of 210cm, this long reach hedge trimmer will have all jobs covered. The shaft is detachable to allow for easy storage and transport.
Comes complete with 1 x AK 20 battery and an AL101 charger.
AK10 - 50 min up to 190m²
AK20- 100 min up to 380m² (Recommended)
AK30- 120 min up to 460m²

When I first tried this hedge trimmer I thought it might not cut the older branches in the hedge, but I was pleasantly surprised. Clean cuts on holly hawthorn oak and sycamore hedging. Laurel trimmed up easily. Quiet product, great reach over a deep 6.5 ft hedgerow. Battery life was as described approx 1.5 hours of fairly constant hedge trimming from one battery. Overall I was impressed with the package so far.
