Description
Manage your tools with the new Smart Connector 2A from Stihl. It attaches directly into the control module of selected professional AP System battery machines. Information from your machine will then be transmitted to the Stihl Connected App, which can be downloaded for free to a smart phone from Google or Apple store.
The smart connector relays information such as a machines working hours/run times, operating speeds and it will notify you when a machine requires a service. Also features a real time clock, meaning data is collected more accurately regardless of how often the connector syncs with the app.
Pressing the button on the Smart Connector 2A gives a quick status indication via an LED light and will highlight if a maintenance task is due. The LED light can also be used to identify individual tools in larger fleets of machinery via the Stihl connected portal.
Operating and instruction manuals can be easily accessed, along with parts drawings and details of your local Stihl dealer.
The connector will provide information regarding upcoming tool maintenance and the system can arrange a workshop appointment directly with an approved dealer.
