High woking volume Stihl garden shredder designed with a powerful Briggs & Stratton 850 EXi OHV RS petrol engine is designed to handle large amounts of hard tree cuttings, woody hedge cutting and also soft green cuttings and foliage. For safety simply turn the one click / one turn safety switch which will stop the engine on the garden shredder immediately with the on button and safety switch integrated directly in a single closure screw on the machine.
Designed with a special sandwich type blade system which cuts material with minimal vibrations and additional wing blades and ripping blades to shred the material perfectly and ensure the shredding chamber remains clean. This blade system guarantees quick, precision working results in the long term. The Stihl GH 460 shredder has the capacity to shred material up to 60mm in diameter. A tool is included and can be stored on the machine for maintenance of the shredder allowing you to quickly change a blade on the shredder should you wish.
The twin chamber system has two individual deed openings for both harder material and soft mixed green cuttings making it suitable for a range of materials. Each of the chambers is equipped with special blades ideal for shredding each particular type of shredding material. Featuring a soundproofed feed chute for reduced working noise when shredding for a more comfortable working environment and neighbour friendly working with integrated spray protection provides a shield against swirling dirt.
Build on 2 wheels with pneumatic tyres of maximum manoeuvrability and a wide chassis to increase the stability of the garden shredder.

This machine is perfect for what I wanted. Copes well with green and woody material. Very clear instructions and easy to operate. Not too noisy. It's not cheap, but it's well worth the money.
