Stihl cordless telescopic pole pruner makes lightwork of trimming and cutting back high branches and tree tops. Powered by the Stihl AP range of 36v lithium ion batteries, the Stihl HTA160 offers excellent balance and control when working at height and is ideal for professionals working within the forestry, landscaping sector and within orchards.
Fitted with a 12" bar and chain fitted with a 3/8" P Picco Micro 3 chain for effortless cutting of wood up to 20cm in diameter. The Stihl HTA160 comes with a powerful EC motor along with a lightweight and robust magnesium transmission for excellent power and performance for demanding users and professionals.
Designed with a telescopic shaft which can be adjusted from 285cm to 405cm, the Stihl HTA160 pruner is perfect for a range of tree heights. With a low weight cutting head, manoeuvring between cuts is easy. At the cutting end of the pole pruner is a sturdy branch hook which is used for gripping and removing loose cuttings.
The powerful motor provides impressive performance to rival a petrol machine while providing low maintenance requirements. For a long service life, the motor features a metal mesh air filter housing for easy cleaning. The HTA160 comes with a protective foot to prevent the motor housing from contact with the floor.
Recommended battery is the AP300S which offers up to 70 min run time.
