The power head is part of the
Makita MM4 4-stroke power range, which offers all of the benefits of a 4-stroke engine. Offering better fuel efficiency compared to the 2-stroke alternatives which are available, also eliminating the need for oil at the work area. This machine offers longer running time, is quieter to operate and with a reduction in emissions is the ideal option for working in a residential area and in general is better for the environment than the 2-stroke competition. As the
4-stroke oil is poured into its own oil tank you will avoid any accidental errors in mixing to the correct ratio as with 2-stroke oil, reducing accidental engine damage and making refuelling a much quicker process, in turn allowing you to get the job done sooner.
