1. Stihl Chain Filing Kit
Available for 5 different chain sizes, the STIHL Easy File has been designed to keep your chains sharp on the go. This 2 in 1 file is one of the STIHLs most popular chainsaw accessories, by simplifying the process of sharpening your chains and completing two functions at once. 2. Chain Oil and 2-Stroke Oil
Keeping your chainsaw bar lubricated is essential for ensuring your machine operates correctly and prevents unnecessary wear, rust and corrosion over time. Using chain oil regularly allows the chain to run smoothly around the bar and reduce overheating and jamming.
· Stihl Forest Plus: A mineral based chainsaw oil with a 3-year shelf life and will perform even at temperatures as low as -15°C. A cost effective and reliable lubrication choice for occasional and regular chainsaw users.
· Stihl Synth Plus: A semi-synthetic and high performing oil made from high grade base oils (refined oils) Prevents resin build up during longer periods of down time. Up to 7 years shelf life and useable in temperatures as low as -25°C.
· Stihl Bio-Plus: An eco-friendly plant-based chain lubricant, derived from plant material and will quickly decompose in the ground. Excellent lubrication in low temperatures up to -20°C and hot climate zones.
Two-stroke oil offers excellent lubrication of STIHL petrol engines, and they have 2 variants on offer, HP Super and HP Ultra.
· HP Super is a semi-synthetic oil with low ash additives for a clean low smoke burning.
· HP Ultra is a fully synthetic oil which burns with very low residue due to its ash free additives.
All stihl 2-stroke petrol machinery runs on a Fuel/Oil ratio of 50:1.
3. Chainsaw Case / Bag

4. Face / Ear Protection
STIHL offer a range of face and ear protection; it is important to wear the correct protective gear when operating power tools and STIHL have lots of options to keep you safe. We recommend earmuffs as basic protection; they reduce the decibel exposure and protect against hearing loss. Earmuffs with facial protection is strongly recommended to stop dust and debris from getting in the chainsaw users’ eyes. The best type of protection is full protection of the face, head and ears. 5. Leg Protection
Chainsaw leg protection is imperative when using a chainsaw to reduce the risk of injury, whether you are an occasional user or professional, having appropriate leg protection is a must. Premium high-tech fibers are a key element in STIHLs personal protective clothing, if a moving chain comes into contact with the first of several protective layers it will rip out all the tough fibers which wrap themselves around the chain, bringing the chainsaw to a stop. What’s the difference in cut protection you ask?
Protection trousers are available in various protection classes and in two variants: Design A and Design C, the different options refer to the areas which include the protective material:
· Design A: Cut protection has been designed at the front of the leg
· Design C: Cut protection all around the leg.
There are several types of chainsaw protection classes, and each type of protection is not necessarily required for every user. The class protection system is a way of designating clothing depending on the maximum chainsaw speed it can effectively protect the user against.
· Class 0: The lowest form of protection at a chainsaw speed of 16m/s
· Class 1: Protects from speeds up to 20m/s, the best compromise between protection and comfort.
· Class 2: Offering protection at a chainsaw speed up to 24m/s, trousers start to be a little less flexible due to the thicker material used.
· Class 3: Maximum protection up to 28m/s chain speed, the higher the level of protection the less ergonomic the clothing. More practical for trained professionals.
6. Saw Horse
While not really a necessity, a sawhorse will help make your firewood chopping preparation a lot easier and safer. By keeping your logs secure and in place, you can comfortably cut wood to size without the risk of injury or catching your chainsaw in the dirt. The Stihl wooden saw horse is lightweight and foldable for neat storage and can bare a maximum load of 70kg.

Pre-Mixed Fuel
STIHL Motomix is highly recommended for all 2-stroke engines, with a shelf life of up to 5 years this pre-mixed fuel is ideal for domestic users who may not be using their machines on a regular basis. Motomix is a combination of STIHL HP ultra-premium 2-stroke oil for exceptional engine lubrication and premium ethanol free, high octane motor fuel in a 50:1 ratio. Excellent for cold starts and is fully synthetic and biodegradable for optimal machine performance.
