The Stihl KombiEngine power unit fits to all Stihl Kombi attachments allowing this machine to handle a variety of gardening tasks from edging to trimming, to sweeping to blowing, one engine does it all.
Lightweight petrol Kombi unit, the Stihl KM56 comes with a reliable 2-MIX petrol engine offering 27.2cc of power. The 2-MIX engine is highly efficient on fuel consumption while reducing exhaust emissions for a comfortable working experience. ErgoStart is fitted to this model of power unit, which provides effortless starting thanks to an additional spring between the crankshaft and starter, no more yanking on the recoil, the machine will spring to life with a gentle pull.
Easy to operate the KM56 comes with a loop handle to ensure you have good manoeuvrability even in confined spaces such as around benches or flower beds, the loop handle is also ideal for while working at height with the hedge trimmer or pole pruner attachment. Being a split shaft machine, the KM kombi system saves space while in storage or transport. Quick release coupling on the shaft makes connecting and disconnecting the attachment easier than ever.
