Description
Designed for the demanding domestic user around the home or for property maintenance, the Stihl MS181C-BE comes with all the great features of the MS181 but with the addition of the Stihl ErgoStart, Quick Chain Tensioner and primer bulb.
The ErgoStart feature allows for simple and easy starting every time thanks to the spring assisted recoil which allows the recoil to be pulled with just one third of the normal force required. This cuts the effort of starting the tool by half and with a gentle pull the chainsaw will fire into life.
Built with a large 16" cutting bar and PM3 3/8" P chain which cuts wood effortlessly and reduces the risk of chain kickback. Quick chain tensioning is fitted to the MS181 CB-E model which offers hassle free maintenance when adjusting the chain tension. The chain sprocket is released with a flip lock, the chain can easily be adjusted with a thumb wheel and without the need for tools.
A powerful 2-MIX Stihl engine with 31.8cc powers this chainsaw and delivers an excellent power output of 1.5kW. The 2-MIX engine with stratified charge provides reduced emissions and improved fuel consumption by up to 20%.
The Stihl MS 181 C-BE chainsaw is superbly balanced giving you complete control while cutting wood, felling trees or logging. Fitted with anti-vibration mounts for a more user friendly experience, the machine's engine oscillations are dampened which significantly reduced vibrations at the handles.
